The dream about the boat

One night not that long ago I had a dream that Phillip and I sold our house and bought a boat. We decided we’d live on a boat, debt free. We don’t know anything about boats or water or boating or fishing or any of that stuff. And Phillip thought I was crazy for wanting to live on a boat, but he went along with it anyway. It was crowded.
The evening after having this particular strange dream we got a call that our adopted son has two little sisters. They needed a home. More important than that, they needed a family. And so even though we don’t know anything about little girls, we “sold our house and we bought the boat.” And that’s what this story is all about.
By the way, I should mention that in my dream we didn’t have any kids at all. We had three yappy dogs. I don’t know what that means.

I thought the same thing when you told me about the dream. Just remember – you have to do this debt free. And with three dogs. The dream said so.
Three yappy dogs, no less.
Lots of noise, a little confusion & mayhem, and unconditional love. Sounds like parenting, all right.
